Welcome to the BuildWise – Play & Learn application (“App”), operated by YE Wise Learning Solutions Ltd. (“we,” “our,” or “us”). This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the App. By using the App, you agree to this policy.

1. Purpose of the App

The App is designed to support the educational experience of children participating in Young Engineers programs by providing model-building instructions and interactive learning features. It is intended for use by franchisees and instructors. Students may interact with the App under instructor supervision, but do not log in or create accounts.

2. What Data We Collect

The App does not collect or store personally identifiable data from students or parents. However, the following anonymized and technical data may be collected:

• Device ID and IP address

• App usage activity (e.g., time spent on stages, features accessed)

• Model unlock interactions using color sequences

• AI chat interaction data (anonymized)

• Offline actions later synced when back online.

The App may also request access to your device’s storage. This is used only to download and display building instructions offline. The App does not access, collect, or use any personal files or unrelated data stored on the device.

3. How We Use the Data

We use the collected data to:

• Analyze how students engage with different models and activities

• Improve app performance, content, and future features

• Ensure proper functioning of the AI chat and instruction delivery

• Provide support and insights to franchisees and HQ

4. Data Storage and Security

• Data is securely stored on GDPR-compliant AWS servers.

• All activity data is stored anonymously and is not linked to student names or contact information.

• We use AES-256-bit encryption and SHA256 hashing where applicable to secure sensitive components.

5. Third-Party Services

• The App uses select third-party providers (such as AI services) to enable chat responses and analytics.

• These services do not have access to personally identifiable information.

6. Access and Control

• Since no personal data is stored, parents or caregivers cannot access or request specific student records.

• If at any point the app expands to collect identifiable data, we will update this policy accordingly and seek appropriate consent.

7. Data Retention

• Activity data is retained for internal analysis and feature improvement.

• Data may be removed or anonymized periodically, as needed.

8. Children’s Data

• The App is used in a classroom setting under adult supervision.

• It does not store or process personal data from children.
